In a rare show of unity and political alignment, all 18 National Assembly members from Katsina State have declared their full support for Governor Dikko Umaru Radda's re-election bid in 2027.

The endorsement, made during a quiet yet symbolic gathering in Abuja, brought together all three senators and fifteen House of Representatives members from the state. The lawmakers described their collective backing as a reflection of the governor’s exceptional leadership, vision, and performance across key sectors.

Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua (Katsina Central), speaking on behalf of the group, praised Governor Radda for his inclusive governance style and people-centered approach. “He hasn’t just governed—he has connected with the people in a way that is rare in our politics,” he stated.

Other senators, including Nasiru Sani Zangon Daura (Katsina North) and Mohammed Muntari Dandutse (Katsina South), echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the governor's commitment to grassroots development and unity in the state.

The show of support was not limited to the Senate. House members representing every federal constituency in Katsina State—among them Salisu Yusuf Majigiri (Mashi/Dutsi), Sada Soli (Jibia/Kaita), Aminu Balele (Dutsin-Ma/Kurfi), and AB Dabai (Bakori/Danja)—applauded Governor Radda’s achievements in education, security, agriculture, and youth empowerment.

Hon. Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki (Faskari/Kankara/Sabuwa) described the administration as one driven by “a philosophy of inclusion and development that puts people first.” Similar views were expressed by Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Muhammad (Malumfashi/Kafur) and Hon. Aliyu Iliyasu Abubakar (Batsari/Safana/Danmusa), who credited the governor for visible and sustainable progress across the state.

The lawmakers stressed that their endorsement was not merely political but a call for continuity. They framed it as a shared commitment to sustain the positive momentum witnessed under Governor Radda's leadership.

Others, including Hon. Yusuf Ahmed Doro (Bindawa/Mani), Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu (Musawa/Matazu), and Hon. Sani Lawal (Zango/Baure), underscored their collaborative efforts in pushing Katsina’s development agenda at the national level—efforts they said are in alignment with the governor’s vision.

Though the 2027 elections remain two years away, the unanimous early endorsement signals deep-rooted confidence in Governor Radda’s stewardship. For Katsina’s federal lawmakers, their support is not just about securing another term for the governor—it is about securing a future of continued transformation for the state.

“The message is clear,” Senator Yar’Adua concluded. “With Governor Radda, Katsina is on the right path—and we believe the next chapter will be even more impactful.”
